Aurangabad- In a memorandum submitted to the Municipal Commissioner, Congress Mathadi Kamgar's Marathwada General Secretary Syed Ashfaq Ali has demanded through a memorandum that the Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Yojana "PM Swanidhi" scheme has been started from July 2020. In it, Hon'ble Prime Minister has started the Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Yojana "PM Swanidhi" scheme to make small businessmen self-reliant. According to this scheme, a loan of Rs 10000/- is initially provided by the bank and after repayment of the said loan, a loan of Rs 20000/- is provided. Also, after repayment of the said loan, a loan of Rs 50000/- is provided. For those who are small business sellers, for example, vegetable sellers, fruit sellers, retail grocery stores and some other small businesses, this scheme is applicable in every district, taluka, village. Those small businessmen who have taken a loan of Rs 10000/- and 20000/- and have repaid it on time. The banks concerned are being arbitrarily reluctant to provide the next loan of Rs. 50000/- to those beneficiaries. Due to this, the needy beneficiaries are having to suffer unnecessarily. It is mandatory for all the banks that come under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation in the district to follow this scheme. Syed Ashfaq Ali has demanded that the Municipal Commissioner write to all the main branches of banks in the city and order them to distribute loans to needy citizens.
