Former PM Manmohan Singh architect of Indian economic reform dies at 92 New Delhi. Popularly Known as Architect of Indian economic reform Dr Manmohan Singh passed away on Thursday at age of 92 at AIIMS Delhi where he was admitted.He led India with immense wisdom and integrity .His humility and deepunderstanding of economics inspired the nation. Born on September 26 1932 in a village of Punjab province of India Singh was sworn as Prime Minister on May 22 after the 2004 general election and took oath of office for second time on May 22 2009. In his political carrier Singh was a member of Rajya Sabha since 1991.He was leader of opposition between 1998 and 2004 then he retired from Rajya Sabha. He was Congress stalwart . He was the fourth longest serving Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru,Indira Gandhi, and Narendra Modi.
