Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme; Applications invited Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Date 13- Every year, the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance provides scholarships to students belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist categories who have been admitted abroad for special studies under the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme. Applications have been invited from eligible students for scholarships for education abroad for the academic year 2025-26. This application can be submitted online and a copy should be submitted by post or in person at the Social Welfare Commissionerate, 3 Church Road, Pune 411001, Regional Deputy Commissioner of Social Welfare Jayashree Sonkawade has informed. Objective of the scheme:- Scheduled Caste category Boys and girls Providing financial assistance for special studies in postgraduate degrees, postgraduate diplomas and research courses (PhD) abroad. Scope of the scheme:- Maharashtra This scholarship will be granted to 75 students from the Scheduled Caste category who are enrolled in a foreign educational institution within the latest QS World University Ranking 200 for postgraduate degrees and Ph.D. The student who is enrolled in a foreign university/educational institution should be enrolled as a full-time student. Also, the students must have a caste verification certificate. Income Limit:- Under this scheme To take advantage The annual income of all family members, including the student's parents' family and his/her own income if the student is employed, in the previous financial year should not exceed eight lakh rupees. Educational Qualification:- Students admitted for a postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma course abroad must have a recognized university in India. Must have passed the graduation examination from universities with at least 55% marks. Last date for submission of application: https://fs.maharashtra.gov.in Completed application form in the prescribed format on the website https://fs.maharashtra.gov.in, readable and legible documents should be submitted online and its clear print should be submitted along with the offline application form to the office of Social Welfare Commissionerate, Maharashtra State, Pune. The application will be accepted till 6:15 pm on April 30. Regional Deputy Commissioner Social Welfare Jayashree Sonkawade has appealed to the students to apply on time to benefit from this scheme.
